dear megan,

i was driving home from class today and saw a young woman holding a sign at the ridgeway and poplar intersection next to the bridge. i kept on going because i couldn't get over to her, and i didn't have any money on me. but as i moved further away, i felt that i should go back.

all that to say, i went against my selfish, lazy nature and headed back to where i had seen her. i got under the bridge, and i realized i couldn't get to her and had no way of seeing her or getting her attention. but as i was sitting there, she came around the corner looking confused. i waved to her and she came over and i gave her some stuff i had just gotten at a gas station.

when i asked her what her name was and she told me, she also said she had thought she had heard someone calling her name.

it didn't hit me until i was driving away -- the Holy Spirit had done so much in just the past half an hour. He had led me to turn around and go back to megan, and when i thought i wouldn't be able to reach her, He called her (or however the Lord spoke to her!)

overall, the Lord just blew me away with His provision. it makes me want to learn to be more and more sensitive to what He is saying!

let us constantly surrender everything -- our time, resources, image, etc.-- and be led by our Heavenly Father!
